We are a mission-driven company. We believe strongly that education institutions around the country understand the importance of attending to the human side of the students and teachers in our classrooms, and that logistical problems are the primary obstacle to scaling mental health, social emotional, and well-being programs across districts and states. Our mission is to provide an efficient tool that will allow educators to more effectively elevate the next generation of humanity.

JOSH KNUTSON
CEO / CO-FOUNDER
Josh was born and raised in Denton, TX. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2012 from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Behavioral Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine in 2015. After graduation Josh and his wife moved to San Diego where Josh worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist until 2017. In an effort to make a larger impact on the systemic issues that affected each of his patients, Josh left his career as a therapist and set out as an entrepreneur, focused on building solutions that would elevate humanity. Josh and his wife moved back home to Texas, and started their first business, Thrive Child Development in Denton, where they taught emotional intelligence skills to children 6 months – 4 years. Josh co-founded Rhithm with one goal: to bring well-being to the larger education system and to positively impact the lives of as many students and teachers as possible.
JAKE GANNON
PRESIDENT / CO-FOUNDER
Jake was born and raised in Denton, TX. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from Auburn University in 2012, and began working in the IT staffing and project management fields with industry leader Insight Global for three years. In 2017, Jake co-founded SocietyMethod, a custom web development services company focusing on enterprise clients with sensitive needs for data analytics, reporting and user experience. Jake and Josh reunited in January of 2019 with a passion for leveraging technology as a positive agent for change, with Rhithm being their first endeavor as a team. Jake co-founded Rhithm with one goal: to bring well-being to the larger education system and to positively impact the lives of as many students and teachers as possible.
